One particularly popular path is the Beethovengang – which traces the celebrated composer’s favorite walk along the Schreiberbach (from Zahnradbahnstraße to Kahlenberger Straße). Named in honor of Ludwig van Beethoven, who lived for a time in Döbling, this path not only offers an association with the history of music, but also a delightful route from the city out into its natural surroundings. Leaving the house, it is less than 100 meters until the Haubenbiglstrasse ends and the first vineyard and hiking trail surrounded by nature starts.
